Spaziale piana‘s music and most of Marianne Dekker’s video were produced separately during my Bogliasco Fellowship Residency in the fall of 2017, and combined later with only minor edits.
Both the music and the images for Spaziale piana were inspired by a two-dimensional representation of a view of a landscape, in particular the view of a horizon as a clear separation between different and continuously changing colour zones.
