The work on … ritroverai qualcosa … started with the design of an abstract system of 36 pitch series, which subsequently formed the basis for chords and scales. Recorded instrumental sounds were then analysed and resynthesized according to this system.
Serially determined time-stretch ratios were translated into time structures and density variations, whereby each sound or sound element (in the case of chords) was assigned its individual position in space.
